Hockey should feel welcoming for every family.
Sensory Sensitive Suites was created to open the doors of Penticton Vees hockey to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), anxiety disorders, and other conditions or circumstances that result in heightened sensitivity to sensory stimuli, alongside their families. Too often, crowded arenas, sudden noise, bright lights, and social pressure make live sports impossible to enjoy. Our suites lower those barriers so more people can share the excitement of game night.
Rooted in Penticton
This program exists because local families, businesses, and hockey fans asked for it. By working together at the South Okanagan Events Centre, we are making game night a shared experience for more people in our community.
