Program Goal
Our aim is simple: make Penticton Vees games a place where individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), anxiety disorders, and other sensory sensitivities, alongside their families, feel supported, included, and able to enjoy the night together.

Four goals guiding every game night.
Inclusion
Ensure that individuals ages 12–18 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), anxiety disorders, and other sensory sensitivities, and their families, have a clear, supported path to attend live hockey games at the SOEC.
Comfort
Provide a sensory-adapted suite that reduces overwhelm from noise, lights, crowds, and unpredictable transitions.
Confidence
Help guests build familiarity with the arena experience so attending a game feels manageable, predictable, and rewarding.
Community
Connect families with one another, with local businesses, and with the broader Penticton Vees community in a meaningful way.
(b) Measuring success
Success looks like more families staying longer.
Attendance
More families using the suites across the season and returning for multiple games.
Engagement
Guests participating in game-night rituals — cheering, singing, or simply watching — at their own comfort level.
Feedback
Families saying the suite made the game possible for them in a way the regular stands did not.
